Our latest acquisition of Polish language consultancy, Lacrosse, has provided us with a strong foothold in Continental Europe and kick-started our exciting plans for the launch of Intonation Europe.
Last October, we announced that we had acquired Warsaw-based language consultancy Lacrosse, expanding our client base across Poland, Germany and the wider EU. Since then, we’ve been working alongside the team in Poland to ensure clients old and new begin benefiting from the new company structure as soon as possible and we are busy laying the groundwork for some exciting changes which will implemented in the near future.
Firstly, we’ll be rebranding Lacrosse as Intonation Europe, to better reflect the consultancy’s portfolio of European clients. Following the rebrand, we will also be combining the two companies’ technologies and workflows to provide clients with an even greater service.
Intonation Managing Director, Dan Peachey, explains: “With any merger or acquisition, the hardest part comes after signing the contract. Client satisfaction is at the forefront of everything we do and together, Intonation and Lacrosse will be able to offer greater resources, improved geographical reach and more expertise. We’re really excited about rolling these benefits out to our clients.”
Lacrosse deals primarily in the legal and financial translation market and this creates an important synergy with our own City Legal Translation division. Dan continues: “Our position as a market leader in the legal and financial translation industry in the UK is matched by Lacrosse’s presence in France, Germany and, of course, Poland. This combined strength makes us a leading player globally and offers clients in the legal and financial sectors the opportunity to work with real experts in the field on a much bigger scale.”
With Brexit on the horizon, we have plans to continue expanding our reach within Continental Europe throughout 2019 and will be announcing more exciting news in the coming months. Watch this space!
