How will you say Merry Christmas?

How will you say Merry Christmas?

1 Dec 2014

You don’t need us to tell you that Christmas is just around the corner; the flurry of retail activity, novelty jumpers and coloured lights wherever you look say it all!

Whether you’re preparing to wind down for the festive season or taking a deep breath before your busiest time of year, we’d like to say thank you for your support and to wish you a Merry Christmas. We hope 2014 has been a successful year for your business or organisation.

But before you reach for that mulled wine, we know it’s not quite over yet and haven’t lost sight of the fact that you might need a great translation service you can rely on and so Intonation will stay open during the festive period. Our offices themselves will be closed, but please email us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.  Our Christmas opening times are:

24th December: Email Service 08:00-17:00
29th-31st December: Email Service 08:00-17:00
2nd January: Email Service 08:00-17:00
5th January: Office open at 08:00, normal service resumes

What will your international clients do to mark the season of goodwill? And how will you be wishing them a Merry Christmas? To help you spread Christmas cheer to clients overseas, we’ve compiled a list of how to say ‘Happy Christmas’ in some of the world’s top business languages:

Portuguese: Feliz Natal
Russian: Schastlivogo Rozhdestva
Japanese: Meri Kurisumasu
Traditional Chinese (Taiwan): Sheng Dan Kuai Le
Polish: Wesołych Świąt
Simplified Chinese: Sheng Dan Kuai Le
Spanish: Feliz Navidad
French: Joyeux Noël
German: Frohe Weihnachten

We wish you a wonderful Christmas and look forward to working with you again in 2015.
