We’re excited to announce that Intonation has acquired UPS Translations, the UK’s longest standing language service provider with a reputation that rivals our own.
Formed in 1947, UPS, like Intonation, has a background in more than just translation, bringing a wealth of expertise in the transcreation, subtitling and dubbing fields and thus enabling Intonation to broaden further its wide portfolio of services. With vast experience in the creative, media and film industries, the purchase of UPS Translations brings with it a vast database of reliable, trusted suppliers and widens our resources to offer you, our customers, more specialists, more availability and, most importantly, more value for money!
Dan Peachey, Translation Manager at Intonation, said: “UPS Translations is the longest standing language provider in the UK and is a very well respected brand, both in creative and mainstream circles. The acquisition marks an excellent start to 2014 as we continue to strengthen our reputation for providing clear, accurate and value for money language services to companies and individuals globally.”
Justin Silver, Director at UPS Translations, added: “A significant concern in agreeing this acquisition has been to ensure our clients continue to receive the same excellent standard they’ve become accustomed to. Thanks to their quality of service, I am confident that you will agree you are in safe hands with Intonation, having worked hard on a smooth and comprehensive handover and thus ensuring your particular requirements are met and your expectations exceeded. The same translators, the same quality and even better value!”
He continued: “Customer feedback tells us that our clients love dealing with a world class team and I want all our existing clients to know that will continue. I will be working alongside Dan Peachey and his colleagues at Intonation and, having got to know the company, can assure you of a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service.”
