More Success for Intonation at Solent Business Awards

9 Nov 2017

There was more success for Intonation at the 2017 Solent Business Awards, with the company taking 3rdplace in the “Dynamic Growth Award”, sponsored by law firm Pitmans Law. Following Intonation’s success at the Association of Translation Companies’ 2017 Language Summit Awards, it was further recognition of the company’s exceptional performance in 2017.

The Dynamic Growth Award, according to Pitmans, “recognises and celebrates businesses that have demonstrated true innovation and the energy and passion for delivering change. As well as financial performance, we recognise those that have developed their workforce and maximised technological, commercial and merger and acquisition opportunities”.With the award presented during a Gala Dinner held at the Hilton, Ageas Bowl, and hosted by TV personality and former MP Gyles Brandreth, the company was commended for its rapid expansion, whilst maintaining a 100% Customer Satisfaction Rate, and the varied nature of its client base.

Commercial Director Dan Peachey explains, “We were thrilled just to be nominated for the award, but to take home the third-place prize was really a surprise. We’re proud to be part of the Solent region, especially as it’s one of the fastest-growing business areas in the UK. We’ve been based in Fareham for over 30 years and love the juxtaposition between working for clients on a global scale and having our local customers pop in to discuss their language projects over a cuppa. We’ve diversified in recent years into other specialist areas, including patent/IP and sports translation and the quality of our offering has seen our clients come back to us again and again. We believe in the power of a top-quality service and, despite such rapid growth, of our top 10 clients, 9 have been with us for 5 years or more- it’s great to know we’re doing things right”.
